This quote seems to be true and right, but all things are not as they seem. It's a half truth. The first sentence is absolutely right. Persistence and determination are great qualities to have. People who possessed these qualities throughout time accomplished great things, and benefitted society. If every single person practiced persistence and determination, the world would certainly be a better place to live. I do not underestimate the benefits of these 2 qualities, no more than I overestimate them, by calling them omnipotent. The second sentence in this quote is simply untrue and wrong. Persistence and determination will not take the place of God. God alone is Almighty, not limited in authority or power. God alone is Omnipotent.
