    It is true that human being have the ability to learn from others, it should also be known that many other animals have this ability. It is not as "unique" as indicated on this page. It has been known for years that many primates learn from one another in a social environment such as our own.Though the outcome of the teachings are not monumental they are however very detrimental to the survival of the species. Primates also show the ability to learn facial expressions from one another to provide further communication other than vocal stimuli. Just keep in mind that learning in a social environment (from others) is not beknown to humans alone. I am glad you added "almost"
